Bazzill
Cardstock, and only Bazzill
Cardstock. That's the challenge I gave the City Planners this month.
Can you believe that? We all love the gorgeous colors and luxurious
texture of Bazzill cardstock, but to ask these embellishment savvy
scrapbookers to create their usual stunning layouts with just cardstock?
Who would dare it? Well... you should have heard the whining!
(ok it wasn't all that bad!) And I think you'll agree that they rose
to the challenge and exceeded my wildest expectations. Their
creative designs have inspired me to look at this staple of scrapbooking
supplies in a new way. Cardstock isn't just for matting or
backgrounds -- they used it for titles, patterns, accents and
monograms. They die-cut it, inked it, punched it. They used it
to create circles, stripes, squares, flowers, buttons, leaves, envelopes,
and even a stingray! If you're inspired as well, I hope you will
drop the city planners a note in the post office and let them know!
