You might be well aware that Making
Memories page and album kits take the guesswork out of scrapbooking making
it simple and convenient to create beautiful results. But did you
know how flexible they can be as well? If you don't normally
consider yourself a "kit person"...think again! In this
feature, the City Planners (and ScrapVillage Mayor) explore the
versatility and creativity found in Making Memories kits.
Mayor Tana Lyon went beyond a
traditional paper page and album to make a series of wall hangings for her
son's bedroom. City Planner Tracey Odachowski stretched her leftover
kit supplies to create a batch of handmade cards. Notice how some
chose to combine their kits with scrapbook supplies from other
manufacturers. Also note that each person's individual style and
personal touch still shine through -- no two projects alike! Visit the post
office and museum
to share your own ideas with the Village.
