If you’re a fan of space-saving vertical storage such as the Cropper Hopper Paper Holder above, try this simple twist to make paper even more accessible: TURN VERTICAL STORAGE SIDEWAYS. By facing the open end (i.e. the top) outwards, you can easily slide paper in and out of the holder. Never again will you need to pull heavy files of paper off the shelf in order to grab that perfect shade of green. Let me show you my vertical paper storage system…
This orderly-looking collection of cardstock is actually held together in place in a hanging folder file turned on its side. With the hanging files removed, the plastic box is the perfect size to store a 5-inch stack of 12″ x 12″ paper. Excellent for those of us with at least 5 inches worth of paper. *blush*
Okay, I actually have two of these file boxes and three of the Cropper Hopper holders stuffed with cardstock, patterned and specialty paper. (you’re doing paper math in your head now, aren’t you? eek!) Each of them turned onto their sides — open end out. Flipping through, pulling out, and returning sheets of paper is a breeze! So, see if your vertical storage is usable on its side…you might have the same fabulous results.
