inspiration from Jill….
I am always inspired by nature, but more so when the seasons are changing. I live on a hill and am surrounded by woodland and farmland and on any given day will see anything from chipmunks to deer. I have a large window in my living room and have a perfect view of the setting sun. I never tire of watching the sunset and just love the glorious colors that are presented night after night. I have numerous photos of different sunsets. I chose to use some photos I took last fall for the April challenge.
When the weather is nice and the wind is calm I am often lucky to see a hot air balloon just before the sun sets. In fact, more than once a balloon has had to land in a farm field across from my house. The night I was taking photos of this particular sunset, I spotted a hot air balloon and took quite a few shots. This was one night when the balloon had to make a landing in the field across from us. I also took a shot of the sunset reflected in the very window that I watch the sunsets from. The colors found in a sunset are some of my favorite colors. Watching the sun set always gives me the desire to break out the oil paints and start painting. When taking art classes in college I created several paintings of various sunsets. I guess I have always had a love of sunsets and the vibrant colors they create.
My challenge to you is to create a layout using photos of the great outdoors, or using colors inspired by nature.
