FONT FAQs
Please note:
To use a
font, you have to download it to your computer and then install
it. Once you have done this correctly, it will appear in your
font list within your word processing program. You are then free
to create away with your word processing program, print on cardstock,
vellum, etc. and add to your scrapbook pages.
All of our fonts are
True Type Fonts (TTFs). They are for use with PCs.
Unfortunately we do not have a MAC option.
Please read all of the
instructions below. If you still have questions afterward,

Download & Installation
Download the font by double
clicking on it. It will bring up a pop up window that will allow you to
choose what file folder to save it on. I save mine in a folder called
"Downloaded Fonts". You can also right-click over the font image of your
choice. Click on "Save Target As" and select the folder into which you want
to save the file and click OK.
1.Click Start on your
Desktop..
2.Double-click on the
"Control Panel" icon. The "Control Panel will open.
3. Double-click on the
"fonts" icon
The "fonts window" will open
and show you the current fonts you have installed on your machine.
4. Click on the
"Files" panel and highlight "Install new Fonts"
The "Add new
fonts window will appear.
5. Use the "Folders" box to
find the folder you unzipped your fonts to. Use "select all" then ok and
your fonts will be loaded for you. If the fonts are already on your PC, you
will receive a warning stating that you cannot install the font unless you
un-install it first. Do not worry about this warning. Just click ok to
continue. After the fonts are loaded you may close the window.
**ALTERNATIVE (works for XP users):
1. Download the font by clicking on it and saving it to your
computer. You do not need to unzip the file.
2. If you put the file in your c:/windows/fonts folder,
then you have "installed" it. It will now be available
when you open your word processing program.
3. If you don't want to "install" it to
your fonts folder, you can create a different folder (this can be anywhere
on your computer, but we recommend creating a new folder in My Documents
or on your desktop). Then when you want to use the font, you
navigate to the font file and double-click it to open it on your
desktop. Once you see the font sample, it is open. Leave that
file open on your desktop (you can minimize it but don't close it) and
then open your word processing program. The font will be in your
font options. This is a good option for fonts you don't plan to use
often.
