Description:	Can't Wear Blue shows my stint as a weather anchor, both in studio and on the screen. I used stamps to make both positive and negative images (echoing the positive and negative journaling) and solid block stamps to subdue the original patterns on the paper a little. Journaling reads: What I loved about doing the weather: Ad lib every night--what a fun challenge! Working with the chroma key. Talking to the Weather Service and learning about the weather from them every day. Finding new ways to talk about the same thing in the tosses every night. The preparations was sooooooo easy! What I hated about doing the weather: I couldn't wear blue or even much green or purple, even though I look best in those colors. Lots of people felt they could comment on the blueness of my clothing--until I told them they needed to find a new line of work in which their color-blindness would not matter. Having to wear the full suit.
