One
of my favorite times is when my children curl up on my lap and we read books
together. We have many favorites at our house but the ones the kids
love the best always have a bit of the unexpected. Blue
has hidden a clue in the book, can you find out what she wants to be for
Halloween? We lift each flap until we figure out our three
clues! It makes reading so much more fun to have a bit of interaction.
The same can hold true in your scrapbooks. This month the City
Planners have chosen to use Hinges & Ribbons to create the interactive
Hidden Surprises on their pages. There are many different reasons to use the
hinges. We can see on Nancy Roger's layout that she chose to have
extra photos be hidden. What a great way to get more photos on the
page! Colette Stucki has chosen to place some touching journaling
under hers. The possibilities are endless. There is a fantastic
selection of ribbons and hinges in the
General Store!
Tana would love to help you out! The City
Planners have created so many wonderful layouts and cards for you this month to help
get you inspired! Drop them a line and let them know what you think in the
Post Office
too. They would love to hear from you!
** Special Note - I know that a lot of
you with dial ups find it hard to view the City Planner feature so we have
made the images smaller for you! *Ü* Now all you have to do is click on the
layout to see a larger view! **
