Start with an average clock. These can usually be found at stores
such as Wal-Mart or Target. Flip it over and check the back for
screws -- they will tell you that the clock can be taken apart.

2. Remove the screws with a small
screwdriver. Lift off the black rim and plastic (or glass).
|
|
|
|
|
3. Remove the second, minute and hour
hands by lifting them straight up. Use caution
not to bend them, however, don't be concerned if they don't come off
easily.
Removing the hands on this particular clock required careful work and
a little jiggling.

4. Keep the hands and screws inside the
plastic (or glass) so that they don't get lost.
