How's everyone doing with the healthy living? Are you making time to be active or to make yourself a healthy meal here and there?

I've been awful so far this year. I think I managed to do 1 day of my 6 week program and then quit. I'm starting over today. It helps when I'm organized. I can't do this program if I don't prepare things in advance. So, I've done just that this week. So far today, I've eaten healthy in good intervals, I've consumed 56 oz of water already and I've walked on the treadmill.

I actually have good news to report: I have lost a couple of pounds. Not only that, but my stomach is happy with me, rather than talking back to me constantly. Good stuff.

I wish I could say that I were walking more, though. That's what I'll be working on this week.

How about you? What positive action are you going to take this week?

I lost 1 kg last week and I am happy with that slow and steady. Started WW again and it works!

Good job you two! Hoping this week shows some results.
Positive Actions this week... I think I'm going to focus on walking at least 3 days this week and drinking nothing but water. I'll be happy if I can do those 2 things. Walked yesterday and drank 100 oz of water, so one day down. big grin

I'm down a pound and a half....finally. My body just doesn't like carbs...not any at all.

I was down 1.8 pounds this week and have lost a total of 13.8 since Jan. 8.
WW is working well for me. I have been good and following it closely. However, tonight I just feel like eating and eating. Must be hormones!

I. give. up. Okay, not really. But I have come to terms that stress and weight loss do NOT go hand in hand. I'm hoping for improvement once my MIL goes home. Plus, once the junipers drop their pollen, I hope to get back outside for my walks. So give me a couple of weeks and let's talk. eye roll

Joy you are smart to wait until your MIL is gone. It is impossible to diet and eat well when dealing with that type of stress. Hang in there!
