Good Morning All,
I do not know why I cannot do this, but, I seem to be totally thick in the head as far as following the instructions for downloading fonts.
I run Windows XP, I have downloaded fonts in my "Local Disk: C" as well as "My Docoments", but, I cannot get them into my "Word Perfect" or "Microsoft Word". What I am I doing wrong?????
I thought I was fairly computer savvy, apparrently not as much as I thought. ") |

Good morning and welcome! You're almost there...you just need to move the TrueType file (.ttf) into your Fonts folder. Here's one way to do it:
- find the font file you downloaded and copy it (right-click and select copy)
- go to Start >> Control Panel >> Fonts
- the fonts on your computer will appear...paste the font file here (right-click on the screen and select paste)
Your font should be ready to go the next time you open Word. Give it a try and let us know how it goes!

| I have Windows Vista and the word processor is called Microsoft Works and it will not allow me to download any fonts. Does anyone have any tricks for me so I can download some of the fonts? I'm desperate. |
