ok, i'm really special, and i have no idea how to get the sv fonts onto my computer. well, i clicked on it, so i think it downloaded b/c the download box popped up. but where does it put them? i have no idea where to go on my computer to retrieve them... i know someone (leah, i believe) "talked" someone through this before, but i can't remember.

could someone please help the computer illiterate, please?!?

i found this from leah:
Good morning and welcome! You're almost there...you just need to move the TrueType file (.ttf) into your Fonts folder. Here's one way to do it:

- find the font file you downloaded and copy it (right-click and select copy)
- go to Start >> Control Panel >> Fonts
- the fonts on your computer will appear...paste the font file here (right-click on the screen and select paste)

Your font should be ready to go the next time you open Word. Give it a try and let us know how it goes!

BTDT....... You really need to watch the screen to see where the font, could be a zip file, is going when you download it... It can be daunting until you know where they go...

So true, Cam. If the computer doesn't ask me where to put it before it downloads or unzips the file, I will download it a second time just to see where it went the first time...and make sure I see it the second time! If all else fails, pay attention to the title of the file and go to Start >> Search -- then do a search for the title or partial title.
