So, how'd you do with your goals for 2011? Feeling pretty good about what you were able to accomplish?

What's on tap for 2012? List your goals for the New Year here so you have a place to reference as the days tick away.

My main goal for 2011 was to get my hobby room done as this time last year all my supplies were in boxes on the closed-in porch. Except for the trim on my window, which DH promises to do soon, this room is done. I still have a little finessing to do, but I love being in here. I failed on all my other goals tho:

1. Use my Cricut more often. DOING SOMEWHAT
2. Scrap with friends more often. NOT DONE
3. Finish our RV album. (This was on my list for 2010!) NOT DONE
4. Make shadow box that showcases a photo of DS wearing his first shoes with the shoes in the box. NOT DONE

I'll keep these as my goals for 2012 and add a few more. For 2012:

1. Use my Cricut more often.
2. Scrap with friends more often.
3. Finish our RV album.
4. Make shadow box that showcases a photo of DS wearing his first shoes with the shoes in the box.
5. Complete an album on last year's wildfire.
6. Try to complete five LO a month.

My 2011 goals were:

1) Journal every day with an eye toward scrapping stories that mean the most.

2) Organize digi pix - there are things I like about PSE8 - but I'm not convinced that it's the answer I'm looking for.

3) Scrap more often

I think I did pretty well during the first half of the year and then my computer at home crashed. I never quite recovered from that. I'm using my work laptop and an external hard drive, but it's just not the same.

For 2012 I'm keeping the same goals. With the addition of

4) a new computer in this year.

I don't remember actually setting goals this year, but there they were:

1. Complete one page a month on 3 grandparent albums instead of doing it all in December. Failed big time
2. Scrap once a week. Did this about half the time
3. Scrap with friends at least once a month. Managed to do this most months, so I'm happy.
4. Organize digi photos since I think I just printed a few pics that I had already printed. Check - I think I have a system that works for me now.

For 2012:

1. Complete one page a month on 3 grandparent albums instead of doing it all in December. (keeping this one)
2. Journal more, instead of just captions.
3. Take more every day snapshots.
4. Finish Belium/France album.

2011-
1. To keep up with a project like this daily journal... I'll start on my birthday (the big 3-0!), so I've got 12 days to get the cover ready! FAIL! I did it up until July 14, but I have written a sentence or two every single day since Liam's been born so maybe I could add those to the calendar?
2. To make a big stack of birthday, thank you & baby cards to have on hand...and send them out! FAIL!
3. Scrap way more than I did this year! Mini-albums, digi-pages, cards...it all counts! I'll count this as a "yes but just barely"
4. Keep up with backing up & loading photos to smugmug YES!

So, for 2012-
1. Keep up with backing up & loading photos to smugmug
2. Make sure my table is clean every Saturday (to make using it more likely!)
3. Use paper scrapping supplies at least once every other week (I'd like to say weekly, but trying to be realistic!)
4. Make a digi LO every week
5. Order prints at least every other month

My goal for this year is to spend less money on scrapping supplies and spend more time actually scrapping.

Part of accomplishing this goal will be to go through all my supplies and be ruthless about getting rid of things I haven't used/won't use in years and re-organize the rest into a more usable and workable system. I believe this will make the act of scrapping more enjoyable because there will be less clutter and less searching for "just the right touch" to finish off a page, and therefor I will spend more time in the scrap room.

I'm a little late to the game, but now that I'm back I'll dive in:

#1 Goal: Begin the arduous process of uploading photos. I haven't been able to scrap much for lack of photos, but now that I have decent internet service I can start getting them printed.

2.) Once I have something to work with I want to make an album of Miss A.'s first year. My smaller goal is to get through her birth photos at the very least.

I think that's as far as I should go, especially since the year is 2/3 over. I can't wait to get scrappin' again!
