As
I sit and write my last monthly feature as mayor of ScrapVillage, I feel a
bit of mixed emotions. I am sad that I no longer will be the leader of
our little village, but happy that is being taken over by such a fantastic
person. Tana will take good care of all of you, and Kevin & I will
still be around making it a smooth transition for her. I think that we
may even be adding a new City Planner starting next month! Keep a look out
for that!
This month the City
Planners have chosen to use Transparencies to create the fantastic layouts
created below. I love transparencies because they are such a subtle
way to add such a big impact to your page. A couple of my favorites are
Teresa Snyder's Mother's Day page. I love the way she stitched around the
title block and used acrylic paint to highlight her title. I am
highly drawn to Patty Lennon's Summer layout as well. The colors are so
vivid and that Daisy D's Transparency is perfect! I also love the way
Rachael Emmertson layered transparencies in her Just Be layout. The possibilities are endless. There is a fantastic
selection of transparencies in the
General Store!
Tana would love to help you out! The City
Planners have created so many wonderful layouts and cards for you this month to help
get you inspired! Drop them a line and let them know what you think in the
Post Office
too. They would love to hear from you! -- JW
** Special Note - I know that a lot of
you with dial ups find it hard to view the City Planner feature so we have
made the images smaller for you! *Ü* Now all you have to do is click on the
layout to see a larger view! **
